make up your mind

i went bowling with ronny, faiez, mao and gokun earlier tonight.. it was definitely fun with all those "supports" and critiques.. they all were super duper competitive especially between ronny, faiez and mao.. i also learned few new terms from ron since he's now the linguistic lecturer! hahaha.. all in all, i had a blast =)

anyways, during our game, ronny asked me this simple question but requires critical thinking and solid reasoning..

"sab, mane lagi penting? style ke outcome?" said ronny..

what he was asking me is, when you are working on something, what is the prominent rule: the way we complete it or the result from doing it? haaa.. i quickly answered "outcome" cause obviously that is the purpose of doing things right? but somehow as i was reading my as*tronomi materials, a thought came across my mind.. 'what if i failed in doing my thing and the reason to look back is my style of doing it'? hurm... so style is more important in this case kn kn kn kn?

"kita xbole akan sentiasa capai segala impian, kejayaan and ke'glory'an dalam hidup ni.. ingat tu!! get to know your limits and abilities.. jadi apa kata kita sandarkan sedikit kemegahan and kepuasan hati kita pada our style if we aren't capable in completing our thing.." kata sab kpd kwn-kwnnya dan kwn-kwn ronny..

this may sound philosophical a bit but wth!! i'm so into philosophy lately.. so this is, i think, what my answer would be if ronny wishes to ask me the same question again.. tehee..

so dear readers, what do you think? made up your mind....

Classes...

Have U ever taken a class that don't matter to you at all in the future...??

Have U ever wonder "Apesal lah aku study subject ni. Bukan aku pakai pon time aku keje nnti?"

Why do we care about learning history? It's the past. Who gives a shit what happen in the past. This is the present! Will all the stuff happened in the past benefits us in the future? Why do we care about learning trigonometry or derivative when all the things that we'll be doing in the future is "buat2 ubat" or "bedah2 katak" and so on.

It's funny how these kind of things tend to interrupt ur pleasant life. It's just the way it is. That's how the system works. There are all these requirements and shits that u have to fulfill in order to be what u wanna be. Perhaps the purpose of it is just to expose u to it, generally. So that you know stuff. So that u'll gain enough general knowledge. That's why they call it GEn ED.

Personally, I've taken like tons of these "xde kene-mengene dgn hidop" classes here in Penn State. Some of them includes music, dance, astronomy, psychology, etc. Why? I don't know. I guess i wanna learn new stuff. Or maybe because i'm required to. Either way, i'm fine with it.


Someone used to ask me, why am i taking this class? why not that class? this class don't matter to you? that class is what matters? Well, honestly speaking, i tend to go for easy "A" classes rather than those that are really important but susah nak mati, last2 dpt B-. These of course apply to those elective courses. Yg wajib tu walau susah cmne pon kene amek gak. Nak wat cmne... Because for me, in those future working days, i bet ur not gonna remember all the stuff that u've learned perfectly. But u do know generally. So basically ko akan diajar balik mende2 tu sume, so xyah risau. The most important thing is to get the job that u want first. How? Get a great pointer first. So senang cite, easy A class goes first, kene-mengene class goes second.
